ATTENTION ALL CADETS OF YCKSS.
Please take note of the following dates ;;
22nd December 2006 : IMPORTANT admin,logistic MEETING for all! Secondary 2, 3 and 4s are to attend.!
26th December 2006 : Everyone in the campcraft committee or those who have volunteered are to report in PT attire to at 1000hours, 10am at the NPCC room. This is for a briefing as well as to set up the MOCK campsite and the pioneering stuffs . This day will also be used to draw out the neccessary logistics.
27th December 2006 : EVERYONE is to report in the stated attire[on the NPCC room whiteboard] at 0800hours in the NPCC room. The time plan is also written on the whiteboard do take a look.
ATTENTION ALL FANCY DRILL-erS
27th December
0800 - 1200 hours ;; PREPARATION for orientation. Draw out all items. Do as follow.
1200-1400 hours ;; PRACTICE for performance. Attire will be guys NPCCpants and also NCO tee. Change at 1150 hours.
1400-1430 hours ;; PERFORMANCE
and the rest are as follows. Refer to the whiteboard in the NPCC room for details.

PHS`NPCC AIR-RIFLE COMPETITION-cum- UNIT BBQ.
On the 16th December, two exciting events happened that kept the cadets on their toes. They were eagerly anticipating the annual games day at Presbyterian High School,( or in short, PHS) ,as well as the NPCC`yckss BBQ organised by our very own Cadet Inspector, Iskandar and also our NPCC ex cadet` Suraini.
PHS.NPCC air-rifle competition.
A total of 7 cadets proudly represented out school at the PHS annual games day and they are as follow,

- Cheong Shao Lun
- Pek Jing Yang
Most of our Cadet Inspectors also made their presence and they are as follow ,

All these cadets did YCKSS proud with their presence at PHS.
Tension was in the atmosphere as each cadet of various schools competed against each other and each shot their best to bring back glory to their own school. Although there were little hiccups throughout the whole event but it was enjoyable to the very last beat and also YCKSS`NPCC cadets did enjoy their time there. oneMIND
As each cadet waits for his/her detail for the shoot, there were whisperings as well as cheers. YCKSS`NPCC cadets as well as Cadet Inspectors each cheered on their own cadet/squadmate, this forged a bond between the C.Is and cadets and this bond will mould each and every cadet into better leaders of tomorrow. There were times of joy and also times of saddness, but we know that the day will not stop just there, why ? For there is always someone behind our back, someone as precious as one's own squadmate and senior or even their own C.I.
Everyone plays a part in the unit. oneSOUL
And lastly,
We are proud to say that YCKSS NPCC Girls Team had clinched a 3rd position for the "Inter-Unit Air Rifle Competition 2006" at Presbyterian High School.
And also,
Our Cadet Inspector, Stanley Yong had also clinched a 3rd position for the "Teacher Officer's and Cadet Inspector's shootout." oneUNIT
With this,
We send our words of praise to them for bringing back such pride.

BBQ at AMK
A unit BBQ was organised by our very own ex-student Suraini as well as our Cadet Inspector Iskandar. The BBQ was attended by mainly those from Yvonne mdm's , BangQi sir's, Stanley Sir's, Jeffery's, Iskandar's, Kengleong's batch, and of course those present NCOs of 2006.
There was at atmosphere of friendliness as many of the cadets and ex-cadets interacted very well and also laughter was lingering in the air. One would feel at ease at such a place with such an atmosphere.

On the 8th of December 2006 ,
10 NPCC cadets of Yio Chu Kang Secondary School went and participate the annual Games Day at Ang Mo Kio Secondary. These 10 cadets put in their all into the game, namely, Handball. Each suffered minor bruises and such.
There were a total of 7 schools present.

All 7 schools competed with each other and a gruelling secquence of matches soon began. Some heated matches soon led to arguements and debates but thank God, it soon was simmered. A big round of applause for the Cadet Inspectors who demostrated great refreeing skills and such. Also a Big Thank You to YCKSS Cadet Inspectors who made it down to witness the few matches of their cadets , namely, BangQi Sir, Minghui Sir, Stanley Sir & Jeffery Sir.
